Tokenism, Corporate Governance Over The Saving Of Souls and False Hope, We Need A Saint To Restore The Australian Church
Laudetur Iesus Christus.
Paucis Verbis; (In Brief)
The sum of what the Australian Church has become is highlighted by the below picture circulated by the Australian Catholic Bishops' Conference.
The opening Mass of the Fifth Council of Australia was led by a laywoman carrying a wooden aboriginal cross and wearing a dress well above her knees.

Like the Second Vatican Council, the current Council has been hijacked by those seeking to build better Church 'governance', as if the Church did not invent corporate governance. Reformists seek to treat the Holy Church like a democratic corporation, where the Lay are equal to Bishops, Cardinals, the Pope and even God Himself.
Our dear Bishops now risk giving these reformists false hope. We have already made far too many tokenistic moves, placing women in some leadership roles solely because of their gender, and now because of an inability to stand firm, the reformists will not stop until they see our seminaries filled with women and transgender people.
In all of this, we seek the intercession for a Saint to return us to the days pictured below, where our Church fathers were fearless and reverent, where sin was acknowledged, and political power was wielded. That is the true change that the current generation of Catholic youth will bestow.
